Proper use of our children’s free time during holidays is important not only for them but also for their parents. We offer two rounds of a 5-day daytime summer camp to spend in the beautiful countryside, sitting by the fire associated with baking, horseback riding, handicrafts like, decorating gingerbread, making jewelery, working with clay, and many other activities that will definitely make your children happy.
Preserving traditional folk skills through one, multi-day, but also weekly craft courses and creative workshops is another activity we are doing. We offer courses focused on working with traditional materials such as wood, textiles, clay, glass, wicker.
Occupations belong to the most active preservers of folk traditions in the area of Podpolanie. The top event of this activity is the Folklore Festival Ocovska folklorna hruda, which takes place annually in August and most of the accompanying events are realized in the Remeselny dvor.
There are occasional and still presentations of works of art in the premises of the Remeselny dvor. There is still The minimuseum of Ocova in two rooms – one in which we present clothes and footwear of the inhabitants of the Eye and the other their working tools and tools of everyday needs.
